1.What is EUDA?

EUDA operates on a proprietary unified AI platform that streamlines communication and information flow to deliver better care and improve patient experience. It will be a fully integrated ecosystem for individuals, doctors, insurers and employers. Patients will get to enjoy a more personalized, more affordable care and improved clinical outcomes utilizing data and technology.

2.Who can use the EUDA App?

EUDA is suitable for everyone who is seeking (i) treatment for non-emergency medical issues; or (ii) advice or a second opinion on a pre-existing condition. If you are below the age of 16, you must be accompanied by an adult (your parent / guardian) during your video consultation at all times. You must also set up your EUDA account prior to commencement of your video consultation.

EUDA’s aim is to offer healthcare solutions that strengthen the delivery of care and streamlining the process thereby reducing the waiting time and healthcare cost. Many patients’ preferences are veered towards convenience, access, fast service, connectivity, and price transparency - all of which is what EUDA aims to provide and differentiates itself from competitors.

4.What makes EUDA’s pricing cheaper than traditional medical services?

EUDA’s proprietary algorithm aims to perform digital triage, smart matching, remote patient management and AI-powered treatment recommendations. The use of AI platform has improved our margins and thereby transferred the savings to the patients allowing more cost savings for the patients.

1.How does a teleconsult on EUDA work?
  1. Register an account on EUDA mobile app and provide your personal information.
  2. Once complete, you will be asked to fill in a pre-consultation survey which includes questions about your symptoms and health history (it will help your doctor treat or advise you better)
  3. Before the start of the video consultation, please have your NRIC or passport ready to verify your identity.
  4. At the start of your video consultation, our health assistant will verify yourname and NRIC/FIN/passport number which you would have provided on registration. He or she will review your condition and decide if there is a need for a physical examination. If there is, you will be directed to the nearest partner clinic.
  5. If you’re suitable for video consultation, you will be directed to a doctor who will evaluate your symptoms/medical conditions and proceed to provide you with diagnosis, prescription, medical referral letter and/or medical certificate as appropriate.
  6. During the video consultation, you may share your health condition and seek medical advice from our doctor. Be assured that you will only be consulting doctors who are licensed to practise medicine in Singapore.
  7. Please note that we will not cater to patients with serious medical conditions and emergency situations over video consultation.
2.What conditions are suitable for a tele consult on EUDA?

Suitable conditions:

  1. Headaches, Fever
  2. Allergies
  3. Sore throat, Flu, Cold, Cough
  4. Diarrhoea, constipation or vomiting
  5. Rash, or cold sores
  6. Conjunctivitis
  7. Urinary tract infection
  8. Skin conditions
  9. Emergency contraception
  10. Other non-emergent medical issues

For symptoms that are not found in the list above, our doctors will make a clinical judgement based on their best assessment.

In general, the below symptoms are not suitable for online consultations:

  • Breathlessness
  • Acute or severe chest pain
  • Actively bleeding or deep wounds or lacerations
  • Psychosis or delusions
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Persistent vomiting
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Inability to control bowel movements or urination
  • Severe headache or giddiness
  • Sudden onset numbness, weakness or slurred speech
  • Fainting spells, presyncope, or syncope
  • Injuries with suspected fractures or dislocations presenting as severe pain,open wounds, deformity, severe bruising or swelling, loss of sensation and limb weakness
  • Sudden loss of vision

This list is not exhaustive. EUDA app’s services only address non-emergent medical issues and should not be used in the case of a healthcare emergency. In such cases, please go to the Accident & Emergency department of the nearest hospital or call 995 immediately.

3.Can the doctor diagnose me over video?

The doctor can give diagnosis via video for non-urgent cases.The common conditions suitable for a video consultation on the app include but are not limitedto the following: cough, common flu, diarrhoea, irritations and other non-emergent medical issues.

If your case is deemed as more urgent, the doctor on call will advise you on the follow up actions like direct you to our nearest partner clinic for a physical consultation; providing you with a medical referral letter to see a specialist; going to the nearest A&E department or dialling 995.

4.Can doctors on EUDA issue medical certificates?

Yes, doctors can issue medical certificates after assessment. After which, the medical certificate will be emailed to you. If you have not received your medical certificate, please do not hesitate to contact our customer hotline: +65 8261 8261

5.Can doctors prescribe medication?

Yes, our doctors can. Your doctor will assess and recommend the best course of treatment, which may or may not involve the prescription of medication. Hence, we do not guarantee a prescription after your video consultation. Medicine and other documents (if needed) will be delivered direct to you within the day.

6.How does EUDA charge for a teleconsult?

Consultation - $20 SGD Flat Fee for non-members, $0 for EUDA corporate members.
Medical Prescription – depends on patient’s diagnosis
Delivery Fee (receive at doorstep within 4 hours) - $10

*For urgent delivery, please call: +65 8261 8261 and we can arrange courier within an hour for a fee of $18

Payment accepted:
Only major credit/debit cards (VISA/Mastercard) are accepted within the EUDA app, EUDA uses Stripe as our payment provider.

7.Medical Records Privacy and Confidentiality

Are my personal records and information stored safely?

We take patient privacy & confidentiality very seriously. All patient data, medical records and payment details provided to us via the app are stored securely.

Is recording of video consultation allowed?

Any recording, whether video and/or audio of a video consultation on the EUDA app, in whole or in part, by the patient, administrator, doctor, is strictly prohibited. Any violation of the foregoing constitutes a breach of privacy and confidentiality laws between the doctor and the patient.

Do you offer benefits for enterprises?
